Frequently Asked Questions About Accessibility

  • Where can I rent a wheelchair at the Disneyland Resort theme parks?

    For the convenience of Guests with disabilities, manual wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) are available for rent outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance adjacent to the Kennel.

    Quantities are limited, subject to availability and rentals are available on a first come, first served basis. Manual wheelchair and ECV rentals require a refundable deposit; sales tax does not apply to ECV deposit. Rented wheelchair and ECVs may be used in both Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. A limited supply of wheelchairs is also available for Guests use at select Disney Resort hotel locations, but ECVs are not available.

    Rented wheelchairs and ECVs are not permitted in the Downtown Disney District.


  • Can I rent a wheelchair while I'm staying at one of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort?

    A limited supply of manual wheelchairs is available for Guest rental and use at select Disneyland Resort hotel locations. Quantities are limited, subject to availability and rentals are available on a first come, first served basis. Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are not available for rent at Disneyland Resort hotels.

    When you arrive at your hotel, contact the Front Desk or the Concierge to make arrangements for your wheelchair rental. If you have additional questions prior to your arrival, please call the Hotel Operator at (714) 778-6600.

    Guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian's permission to call.


  • Is there wheelchair access to restaurants and shopping locations?

    Yes. All Disneyland Resort dining and shopping locations are accessible to Guests with wheelchairs. Cast Members are available to assist Guests when necessary. Receive more Disabilities Information.
